The BlkWomenHustle® Collective Returns With Affordable Business Consultations

In March 2022, BlkWomenHustle^® announced the launch of an initiative to meet Black Women where they are in business with affordable solutions. The all-in-one networking platform was designed to provide Black Women entrepreneurs, professionals, and creatives with opportunities to network with purpose, learn from industry-leading experts, and grow profitable businesses.

With inflation on the rise and the cost of living surpassing wages, it has become harder for current and aspiring entrepreneurs to consistently invest in their businesses. In a time when vital business investments began growing out of budget, BlkWomenHustle^® confronted the crisis for the country’s fastest growing demographic of entrepreneurs with The BlkWomenHustle^® Collective.

The networking platform curated its consulting and educational sector to provide a community of 110,000+ Black Women with direct access to industry experts at an economic investment. At the start of the pandemic, Thumbtack reported that the average small business consulting fee could cost up to $1,500.

While the term “affordable” is subjective, there is no denying that the economic changes over the past two years has shifted the perspective of millions.

BlkWomenHustle^® Founder and CEO Lashawn Dreher recalled the Collective’s purpose and responses to its influence. “We initially launched with the goal of providing 100 Black Women with affordable business consultations in honor of Women’s History Month. In planning, I knew the magnitude of this type of initiative, and the constant inquiries and requests received months later were confirmation. It would be remiss if we didn’t bring the Collective back,” she shared.

The platform has since added to its indispensable enterprise to include additional industries and courses led by the industry experts.

Their current roster includes marketing and public relations consultants Lashawn Dreher of BlkWomenHustle^® and Nantale Muwonge of Black Girl PR™, business consultants Dr. Ashley Little of Ashley Little Enterprises^® and Dr. Eve Hudson of Evingerlean Worldwide^®, and legal consultant Lerae Funderburg, Esq. of Funderburg Law and Lawyer Mommy^®. The business courses inside the Collective are led by its consultants, with topics ranging from global podcast launching to intellectual property protection.

As of May, The BlkWomenHustle^® Collective has removed its original limitations, making way to serve thousands of current and aspiring Black Women entrepreneurs.

Business Consultant Dr. Eve spoke to the Collective’s impact, affirming, “We’re breaking the negative stigma of what it means to work with Black Women. It is the answer to the question of how to ensure our success. Working with us eliminates the excuse for why you can’t be successful.”
