In a historic year for Slutty Vegan founder Pinky Cole, the icon has now added a corporate title to her growing list of accolades. The restaurateur acknowledged her journey from DoorDash delivery to being named the company’s new Chief Restaurant Advisor.
The announcement came in a one-minute reel with DoorDash Founder and CEO Tony Xu making the call to Cole.
Xu expressed the company’s desire to find someone who would “speak their mind and be the voice of the restaurant.” Cole’s new leading role will offer advise and counsel for the newest products released from the online order and delivery platform.
This news comes weeks after Cole’s announcement of the $100 million valuation of the Slutty Vegan brand, adding to the record-breaking year for one of Atlanta’s fastest-growing entrepreneurs.
During this year’s graduation season, Cole served as the youngest commencement speaker for her alma mater, Clark Atlanta University, and gifted the entire Spring 2022 class with an LLC. In June 2022, she announced a partnership with Steve Madden for the release of their limited edition vegan shoes.
Cole’s journey has inspired millions to move forward and chase their dreams, and she doesn’t show signs of stopping anytime soon.
